SALIDA, CO - A free seminar on Green Building & Sustainable Living will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Salida Café at 1:00 p.m. The free, informative seminar will be presented by Bussing Construction in partnership with Peak Solar Designs and Heart of Rockies Chamber of Commerce. The seminar will conclude with a tour of a Built Green Colorado home powered by solar energy. Speakers will be Laura Bussing, a Certified Green Professional through the National Assoc. of Home Builders and Tim Klco, owner of Peak Solar Designs.

The purpose of the seminar is to educate the public on the how, what, when and why of Green Building Science and Sustainable Living and how the President’s Economic Recovery Plan will likely impact green building and renewable energy consumption. Seminar participants will acquire a better understanding of green building, solar energy, government rebates, tax credits and how to reduce their carbon footprint.
