TAX DEDUCTIBLE*

Contributions to the SteamPlant are generally tax deductible at both the state and federal levels, since the facility has 501(c)3 status, as an independent tax exempt organization. Donations of appreciated stocks and bequeaths of funds and stocks may also be tax exempt.

In addition, the SteamPlant is an approved project within the Upper Arkansas Enterprise Zone. This status provides a non-refundable 25% state tax credit for cash donations over $100. Please check with your tax advisor on how to use this deduction and credit.
